BESA provides file format readers for most major EEG and MEG data formats. A list of supported data formats can be found here: [http://besa.de/contact/support/form.php Supported data formats] 
Some readers will already be enabled when installing BESA Research, while others need to be activated after installation. This page describes how to install readers that are not configured by default and how to update existing readers.

== Install File Format Readers ==

Please close BESA Research before installing new file format readers. 
To activate a file format reader, you need to go to the '''Utilities\Additional Readers\''' subfolder of your BESA Research installation directory. 
Note that the default path to the BESA Research installation directory depends on the version of BESA Research and your operating system. For BESA Research 6.0 running on a 64-bit Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP the default paths are:
