Exporting MFF file from BESA

The EGI MFF file format is a folder-based format. Inside the MFF folder you will find several files. You can select and open any of these files in BESA Research. BESA Research will automatically sort and resolve the content of the folder.

However, if you want to export an MFF file to any other format you should either export the file to a location outside of the MFF directory, or move the outcome from the MFF directory after exporting. If you open the exported file (i.e. with extension .foc) from the original folder, it will still be treated as part of the MFF directory, and thus the original data will be opened instead of the exported data.
